unable to hold charge

we have owned 2 waterpiks of this model. Both failed in their 1st year. Their battery and/or charging elements failed. While they were able to hold a charge (with and w/o charger wire attached to outlet) they were great. Too bad the engineers used inferior electrical/battery parts, prone to early life failures.

Positive: Works very well. Negative: "Non-replaceable" battery. The device outlasts the battery, so why turn it into e-waste instead of simply replacing the battery?

I did lots of research online before I chose this Waterpik. I didn’t see any review about how very noisy this unit is. It’s super loud & has lots of vibration. The results r great & I love how it feels while using. I just make sure that I use it before my family goes to bed so it doesn’t wake up the entire house.

Q: The product is currently in use, but the charging indicator is blinking slowly and is non-functional. Pressing the power button has no effect. I have cleaned the charging port and charged it for an additional 4 to 5 hours, yet there is no improvement.
