Just Okay

I use the Aquarius countertop model at home. I bought the Cordless Slide for travel. Its compact size is its only benefit. The Cordless Slide’s flow rate is a little more than half of my countertop model. The pulses per minute are slightly higher (1500 versus 1400), but this doesn’t make up for the low flow rate. The difference in power and effectiveness is noticeable. As other reviewers have mentioned, the water reservoir and the motor unit are *very* hard to separate. The water reservoir doesn’t dry out within a day if the parts aren’t separated. One time I caught my skin between the two parts when I forced them back together – ouch! Its obvious market is travel, but it didn’t come with a travel case or bag. The blocky shape is awkward to use and it doesn’t have a rotating tip. The battery life so far has been good – I used it daily for 10 days on a single charge. I’m still debating whether I will keep the Cordless Slide.

The waterpik works good and the travel feature is nice; you can collapse it for stowing away. When you hold it, it's a little unwieldy. I have big hands and still have trouble getting my hand around the unit. At times I have trouble getting to the on/off button but, maybe it's just me.

Impossible to Clean Unit!

My cordless Waterpik cleans my teeth great but unfortunately it is impossible to clean the unit. It slides easily but is very hard the pull apart. Today the reservoir actually cracked when I tried to pull it apart from the unit. I will be shopping for another brand.

Q: how can I tell if battery is fully charged?

A: Hello LindaOT - The LED light will emit a slow glow on/off when unit is charging. Once the unit is fully charged and the charger is connected the LED will remain on until the charger is disconnected. For future reference, this information is included in the instruction manual that came with the unit.
