My dental hygeinist advised me in addition to dental floss that I should get a certain rechargable stand-up water flosser. There are several brands, but they all look the same. I bought the one she recommended. After 11 months the battery died. They replaced it under warranty, but the new one only lasted another year. My wife had an old Waterpik AC model similar to this, but it wasn't working. It costs slightly more than the short-lived rechargable one, so I went for it. I am impressed that the pulse pressure is much more than the rechargable one, more adjustable, has more tips, and the Aquarius model has more features than the standard one (30 second timer, massage mode, mode LED, etc). Of course the reservoir holds much more water too. So far I love it. I expect it to last for years, though I've only used it about a month so far. I have had extensive dental work. I'm still using floss, but I'm wondering if I can use only this.

This is a wonderful addition to my dental care. I'm so glad my hygienist suggested it. I have hard to reach spaces and this makes it super easy versus me fumbling around and cutting my gums. I'm happy with the results and my mouth feels cleaner.

Choosing between a 360-degree tip rotating handle and a swivel handle depends on personal preference. A 360-degree tip rotating handle allows for full rotation of the tip, whereas a swivel handle lets the entire handle pivot without the hose rotating along with it. Both features enhance ease of use, so it’s best to choose the one that feels more comfortable for you.
